endless blurs of purple wind
Swirling through a thousand trees
divorced with an empty feel
found myself flying again
Even as I fold my wings
surrender to the tasty kiss of August
burning so red
I never seem to realize
what was bothering the sky
who turned so dark and struck me down

Laying on the surface of a
casket filled with strawberries
who fought so hard to look so red
Reaching for it’s boundaries
discovered that without my wings
it seemed almost impossible to fly
